If anyone can point me to the correct adapter, I'd greatly appreciate it. As it currently stands it takes over 21 hours to do a full/recycle backup with Retrospect. If I had the adapter described above I'd be getting at least 1GB/minute. In cases when you can't access the inside of your PC because of the warranty, for example, or you simply don't have enough slots to connect additional disks.

The reason I need this is that I have a spare Western Digital 3TB My Book USB 3.0 external HDD and I have an old Toshiba laptop that needs to be backed up. It seems everyone and his dog sells eSATA ( female ) receptacle to USB 3.0 type A plug adapters but I've never found an instance of someone selling what I described above.
Has anyone here ever heard of or seen a USB 3.0 to eSATA adapter/converter that has a USB 3.0 type A receptacle ( female ) or micro B plug ( male ) on one end and an eSATA ( male ) connector/plug on the other? For the life of me I can't find one and I've been googling for days.
